One month later, and your life as wizards continues. Some of you may have been changed in more ways than anticipated, but you're also becoming more and more capable and powerful wizards as the days go by. The spirits are getting more comfortable with you, and you're getting more comfortable with them...hopefully.

With more power comes more responsibility, or something like that, and by that it means it's time to do some mandatory volunteer work. That probably means it isn't volunteer work, but you do have a world to fix!

There's also more jobs to take on and tasks to try... Things never stop for wizards.

Plotting: Mostly tasks and the job board...!

reinforcing barriers: Ithaqua isn't much for seals and whatnot... so curiosity will lead him to try this task out. It's not really his forte so he'll definitely need a bit of assistance... and someone to watch him in case he decides to snoop around the castle and get them all into trouble.

monster hunting in the North: Pls take Ithaqua with you if you're going off to the North for some monster hunting. He's very used to the cold, and he wants to go there anyway because he is supposed to be representing that place. He'd be an excellent partner anyway since he knows how to survive in the cold and can bail someone out if they're in trouble.

general monster hunting in the East: Sure, Itha is also interested in this... he doesn't want to be in East proper because they're kinda jerks about the whole socialization thing.

mana areas: who wants to go out for some fun road trips? Of course they'd be quick because they're wizards, but still. Who wants to have Ithaqua around for that? I already have ideas for his mana area, which honestly should be easy to find (and easy to guess, given Ithaqua's whole shtick). Traveling is more fun with a buddy.

Unsure if I'll put up a TL, but I will definitely be zooming around others and tapping starters based on interest, CR, and prior plotting.

Jing Yuan got some things like bouquet flower effects which I will be tossing onto the top level, and including a baby grand piano...he'll have no idea what to do with that because he is not a musician, so if someone wants that, let me know!

I'm not really good with plotting in general so I'm just winging things. If you want, I have a top level here, where he can interact or hit me up for room post.

Character and info: Bruno is a Southern wizard! He's getting less nervous about using magic and about being social with the other folks in the manor, though he's still very twitchy in crowded spaces and very easy to startle. He's also been finding a knack for fixing things, be them items or people.

Plotting: I won't be doing an open top-level this round! But I am up for doing some closed ones if anyone wants something specific. Otherwise, it's going to be tag out central this event for me. o7

Things Bruno will be doing for sure:

- being hella scared of all that lingering dread as he's extremely sensitive to this stuff
- trying to help calm the spirits
- doing general clean-up in the East
- he'll also be helping reinforce the barrier at the castle
- maybe getting him jumped by a monster that'd be fun right and/or getting jumpscared and arrested for screaming ;;

Another note of interest is he's going to be taking a peek into the future (or will have as of the end of week 4), so he may have some very uncertain outcomes to share.

Timezone & Tagging Times: GMT+8 but heaven knows by now that my sleep schedule is all kind of whack. Usually when I send tags I'm up to boomeranging as long as I have the brain for it.

Character and info: Joyous Day is a Southern wizard and a pretty laidback and friendly person who is also unfortunately prone to try solving problems if presented with any. He's been focusing on blessings and making protection charms, but in light of recent events will want to try and work on his healing magic too. I'm trying so hard to crack him open a little more since he is very definitely not just some regular guy and ease him into the idea of sharing some of the less ordinary stuff with people, since secrecy is not as much of a big deal or even necessarily required here.

Plotting: Day..is probably going to be kind of low-to-high-key stressed for at least part of the event since he's coming hot off the heels of a bunch of stuff, please help distract him.

Thing he'll be doing:
- Poking about the edge of the crater
- Trying to help calm the spirits. If you want a dance or music partner he's always willing.
- Doing general clean-up in the East
- He'll also try to do monster-hunting in the East but might have some trouble with the actual killing part,,,
- Helping to reinforce the barrier at the castle
- He'll accompany people trying to figure out their mana area, since he'd also be trying to figure his out.

Timezone & Tagging Times: I'm the most active after 6pm EST and most of the day on weekends... I have been recently having internet issues though and have been stuck on my phone so my speed's been a little bad, I'm working on getting this fixed.

Character and info: Solomon, North country, very slippery and mysterious sorcerer! Last seen holding up a barrier between East and West like the Berlin Wall and chanting demonic things at a teenager.
Plotting:

- Come gather for storytime with Solomon around the big unearthly hole in the ground. Will I tell Obey Me lore in whimsical fairytale format? Possibly.
- Solomon is on quite a bit of alert after Central came back and might be a little more closed off than normal this week while he tries to look into some things (read: more testing on his own to see if he can manage to get his summoning back).
- Hilariously Solomon has already been venturing into what will be his mana area anyway (thanks, broom access!), but he'll be looking for help for an appropriate amulet. If your character is on the crafty side, HMU. Alternatively, if characters aren't sure or if they want some old man lore (or both), Solomon can take them to where he believes his own is.
- Want a magical attack man for the North mission? Here comes grandpa. He has a particularly strong incentive to prioritizing the North after the ball, so if anyone is reluctant whatsoever in helping then he will offer to come with. He is going to pop so many mana stones directly into his mouth.
- Grandpa's heart is gonna catch on fire while in the city. No big deal. If anyone wants to make sure he doesn't get arrested when he keels over in pain in an area that requires no talking and no magic then please feel free to intervene. :') It won't last for very long, but sometimes a good escape from the cops is for the best.

Character and info: Ahito, a Northern Wizard! He's kind of a punkass rebel kid who hates magic due to being the subject of magical research and experimentation, but he's got a good heart and strong sympathy for others who were experimented on or physically changed against their wills.

Plotting:

✩ He will be keeping to himself after the Ghost Fight! This does not mean he will be unavailable for CR, it just means that he won't be reaching out to people to talk about what happened. If anyone wants to poke him in the aftermath, feel free to visit him in his room which we can use ICly for both his room in the manor and his hotel room in the City of Rain.

✩ Once again he'll be doing all four jobs! I'd like to make sure there's at least one thread for each, but if only one of the prompts sparks joy for you (once I have my tl up), it's fine to double up too.

✩ More generally, he'll be trying to help fix the site as well as clear out monsters to practice his offensive magic. He'll be more prone to lowkey things like telling stories and praying, but feel free to drag him into dancing and such!

🐦‍⬛ North monster hunting - like every other North it seems he Will be headed north to check out whatever's going on with their monster problem, not like he cares or anything. it's probably safe to go with him if you wanted to do that mission but aren't sure about your ability to go up there alone! it's dangerous to go alone take....... well surely the Norths will be safe partners right. don't mind him munching on the mana stones.

🐦‍⬛ Who wants to go on a field trip with Grims? These will more or less be doubling both as trips to learn more about the world they're in and also to work on narrowing down his mana area/finding something to make an amulet from. Robin will specifically be looking into political/historical research into the past relations between the countries here because gazes at certain apparent country happenings, and visiting some of the the appropriate/associated sites because uhhh sometimes, you know. Sometimes both the human part of you and the dragon part happen to intersect in one key way: good at war/mass destruction. So. Anyway, who wants to go on a trip either into the cities for research or prrrrooobably the wilds? The Ravages of Oz? Surely it'll be cozy and quick because they're wizards, but hey, if they really want to they can go camping under the stars, sure.

🐦‍⬛ General monster hunting in the east/clean up - he will also be willing to do this if anyone needs a buddy. Munch munch mana rocks, he'll also be wondering about the general mcFuckening of the area given recent events so he'll probably be trying to hang around it anyway, esp since the city is... hm. Too bad it's suspiciously picked clean, huh.

🐦‍⬛ Calming the spirits - Honestly I've been waiting for a storytelling prompt of some sort to pop up for a while ... if it's a big public thing he'll make it a spectacle or dramatic or not provide anything to work with at all, something something first exalt, but if you want to catch him 1 on 1 in a more? Reflective mood???? Well... Who wants to hear about the story of the king's tactician, the fate that awaits martyrs striving for peace, and/or the dragon that dreamt it was human? Obviously none of this is about him.

🐦‍⬛ Reinforcing barriers - wow does this have sus written all over it. He... might want to keep an eye on this one, but he's going to have to be convinced to help, all things considered. Why masking, exactly...

🐦‍⬛ Recycling - he's not likely to be gravitating to this one on his own unless the junk has links to the mcfucked gouge since he's already going to be so busy otherwise with his own projects training/communing/mana areaing and political landscape research past and present wise, but he can be convinced to partner up for this if you want a buddy.

Malice is a vampire who shouldn't be capable of magic, but is working his ass off to not slow anyone down! Though he has a natural knack for combat magic (due to being a North), everything else is pretty hit or miss. If you want to help him learn more, please help him out!! He's generally pretty laidback and relaxed, but he's had a tough time back home and is very determined to get revenge on the people who wronged him so you know. Normal things!

Plotting:

Things Malice will for sure be doing:

Fighting monsters, both in East and North. He lives to fight and he greatly enjoys it, plus we get mana stones?? He will absolutely eat them to power himself up, lmao.

Calming the spirits, specifically through telling stories because everything else is very "ehh" for him, lmao. He will gladly just talk to the spirits/himself if no one else is around but he's going to run out of stories to tell really quickly that way...

Exploring that gouge in the earth. Though he won't find anything interesting, Malice is absolutely going to go exploring despite how off this area feels. He's expecting more monsters to fight so he'll be a little disappointed to find nothing... but if you wanna go on a trip with him, this is an option!

Reinforcing the barrier in Central. Not exactly the sort of thing he's good at, but this one will catch his eye and he's going to be very interested about what they're hiding. Do you want to try to find some answers with him? Or get thrown out of the castle, that's very likely too.

Mana areas. Malice's is pretty flexible as long as it's dark and somewhere potentially dangerous, so if you want to go find an area somewhere where you might need some help to fight things off, he's your guy!

Checking in with people after the Akira-ing? He's down to check in on the injured, give thanks to those who helped, or even ask about what exactly happened to anyone else who was there. He kind of got distracted when Yamato was shot, whoops.

I may not be top leveling for this event because I have a lot in my backlog, but who knows?? We'll see how things go, lmao. I am always open to room posts or tagging into your top levels, of course!

Character and info: Syrlya is his world's general savior, champion, fix-it guy--you name it, it's probably his problem. Warm-hearted, compassionate, and as noble as his people come, Syrlya has boxed himself into the heroic mantle and come out of it fussy, a bit neurotic, and with a massive guilt complex. Very much a hypocrite who just disregards personal safety and limits. He's just recently reached the end of averting the apocalypse (after... nearly accelerating the apocalypse) and, having spent literally his whole life doing that, has been left listless without any place or direction for his future. So he's going to... throw himself right into trying to save this world now that he's here, because that's what he's familiar with!!

He represents the Central Country. Their mission went... it went.

Plotting: It's time to be a workaholic! Here is everything Syrlya is getting Up To:

East mission: mostly clearing out monsters and cleaning up the land but he'll try appeasing the spirits as well. He's basically over there sun up to sun down. The city is kind of depressing anyway.

Central Job: He will be helping with the barrier reinforcement, and then afterward check out the library. If he finds anything worth sharing... he'll bring that back.

Recordkeeping: speaking of sharing, Syrlya's now going to start a record if his experiences with magic, consolidate what proven information they can find along with direct examples, and also write up reports for things like the central mission for accessibility in the library. Who wants to join him for magic experiments.

Which is to say he is running around doing things All The Time. He will not slow down or relax.

MINI-EVENT SIGN UPS...?

This Friday will have a special ✨mini-event✨ taking place, starting at noon EDT, and will function as a sort of mission/CYOA on a smaller scope compared to country missions. Things in the worlds are changing, but balance needs to be maintained.

We'll take sign ups for six people, from any combination of countries! If more than six people sign up we will RNG.

Risks on this mission will be relatively low, with no chances of death or afflictions, but that doesn't mean injuries and the like are off the table.
