📝 TL;CR MEME 📝
Welcome to the end of game TL;CR meme!
It's been a busy three months with a lot of ups and downs with all kinds of CR... Now's the perfect time to look back and see the path your characters have taken.
You know the drill—leave a blank toplevel with your character's name in the comment line, and when your CR replies to your comment, let them know how your character feels about them.
Comment around, have fun, enjoy the retrospective!
If you have the time, check out the love meme to celebrate the OOC side!

Ahito tends to only come to him for missions and whatnot, so he never got to know the kid on a more personal level, thus he just doesn't give a fuck. Not to mention Ahito just never seemed all that interested in getting to know him better, or even wanting to be more than just fellow Northies, so Ithaqua did not dig-- and also turned him down that one time. He interpreted Ahito's coming to him for only missions as a desire to stay professional, and if the kid wanted to just be professional, fine.
So Ahito's insistence on talking more to him in deeper topics in the last mission and at the end confuses him. I think he'll continue to be confused for a while before just putting the matter out of his mind until world travel has been worked out and Ahito insists on talking to him again.

Though the main reason is just that Solomon is Solomon. 🤷♂️
OKAY I'M KIDDING I HAVE MORE TO SAY i just couldn't resist one last gag tag
tbh at first, Ithaqua... liked him? He was weird and quirky, and that's the kind of personality trait that Ithaqua tends to be drawn to. They're sure to have an interesting story behind them, and maybe, just maybe, they can get along. Solomon had him all the way until the mana area trip.
And then Solomon Solomon'd all over the place.
It definitely started thanks to the mana area trip, though less about the questioning that Solomon put him through-- tbh Itha literally did not care about that sort of thing before but Solomon changed that-- and more the way Solomon just refused to see eye to eye with him on certain things. Namely, Solomon disgusted him with all his talk of loving humans, and Ithaqua liked to murder them But he wanted to give the guy a chance... which is why he offered that little deal of them shutting up about their personal perspective of humans in order to get things done in the future. Alas Solomon did not accept, which pissed him off so much that it had a massive snowball effect on how he acted towards JY. It really irritates Ithaqua that he went out on a limb to offer this olive branch that he would never have otherwise, and Solomon, in his opinion, had too much of an ego to accept or at least come to a compromise for future harmony. And for what? Principles? Ego? Ugh.
I guess in a way Solomon won extra because Ithaqua shut up while Solomon did not. Which is why Ithaqua would not have cried if he died, pair spell be damned. And why Itha would have let him die no matter the circumstances. Frankly, Ithaqua is not interested in seeing him for the rest of their lives, and would murder him himself in the future if world hopping turns into a thing they all decide to do. Never see him again, old man, you're the worst part of his experience in this world by far and made many experiences and even a potential connection worse. Destroy those snowmen, you don't deserve them.
(But I'm secretly hoping that if they get into a game together again, it's better.)

That being said, JY did irritate Ithaqua at the beginning for too many questions and then falling asleep?? Alas, the beach did blow it out of proportion due to his temper running high, so he just put JY out of his head for a while and acted like he didn't exist, as Ithaqua tends to do with people he really dislikes but can't murder. Basically he didn't think much of JY for the longest time just so he could keep his sanity-- he really wanted to murder but couldn't, so he needed a coping mechanism.
I'm quite glad they did pull it back in the end though, even at the expense of Urianger's health... Hahhhhh hah... Nowadays he's grateful to JY for helping Urianger, though he still judges grandpa for getting with Solomon. Just. Bro why

Anyway he is still wholly unsure as to what he should feel and think about Robin, though Ithaqua knows he's reliable, intelligent, a decent kind of immortal, even if he's gone a little bit wonky already. (at least not like solomon) He's not so mad that Robin kept secret that he's a dragon until the North mission, but at least he got to pet the snek a while. That basically raises Robin's status in Ithaqua's eyes.
He does regret that their most meaningful interactions were during professional work, during missions and important things, and whatnot. Ithaqua would have liked to get to know him better, why he's like this, what has gone on in his life and how he manages to not go insane from the eternity... even if Ithaqua does feel judged almost every time he talks to the old man. Weighed and found wanting. He just decides not to let it get to him.
But they did get to do some nice things together, like pet cats... Ithaqua likes that. Maybe they'll get to do more in the future now that they're free of their duties, old man.

tbh Tatara is an enigma to Ithaqua. That sort of cheerful attitude tends to mask a really, really ugly personality on the inside... so Ithaqua kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. He only realized that there was no other shoe about after the Northie mission, when Tatara came to visit him-- which is why he confided to Tatara in that way. Better late than never?
Tatara also... just strikes him as someone with a few braincells rattling in his head. Oops, sorry. Ithaqua is just perpetually waffling between completely fine with him, and being very tired of him is because he just never struck Ithaqua as an intelligent, decent leader, even if he is indeed a decent man. So yes, he'll do what Tatara wants, but not out of any sense of loyalty-- it's mostly because if he doesn't comply, life is more difficult for him. So he did his best! Even if he really didn't want to.
The biggest reason why Ithaqua doesn't completely like Tatara-- aside from Tatara being human-- is because Tatara is a pacifist, thus he can't give creature the enrichment he desires and deserves. It's like Tatara is a homebody with a giant working dog that needs hours of intensive exercise, Ithaqua felt really cramped. He's definitely glad to be done with all of this, though he has no hard feelings in the end.
